Check-Hers Elite is a not-for-profit lacrosse club based in Carroll County.  Sponsored by Carroll County Parks & Recs & Central Carroll Rec. Council.  Formed in 2004 to develop lacrosse players from Carroll and surrounding areas, it has become one of the premier club lacrosse organizations in Maryland. Designed to provide opportunities for girls who have a passion for lacrosse, Check-Hers Elite is committed to helping the player realize her potential and maximize her lacrosse experience and exposure.

We have grown into an organization with resources to help our athletes not only advance their lacrosse knowledge and abilities through high level coaching, but also to guide and educate them about the college recruiting process. While we foster a highly competitive atmosphere on the practice and game field, we remain committed to providing guidance and opportunities for girls of all levels to pursue their collegiate lacrosse ambitions. Our athletes are taught to seek the best fit for their academic interests above all, while maintaining a focused balance on how lacrosse should fit within that pursuit.

Our expectation is that all Check-Hers players are committed to playing to their potential, and committed to being an all-around team player. We teach that the game is bigger than any individual’s talent and that within that structure, they then become their most capable athlete. Along with this philosophy comes a knowledge that Check-Hers players are dedicated to their team, supportive of their lacrosse family and ever-focused on improving their lacrosse abilities, making them desirable recruits.

As a program, we take great pride knowing that our athletes have been instrumental in the success of teams at all levels of college play – from top DI programs to smaller collegiate club programs, and everything in between. We are looking to enhance the girls’ college experience through an opportunity to play lacrosse at the level that’s right for them.
